What I do:
Information Architecture
While still in the ideation phase of a project, I create sitemaps and wireframes to help both clients and tech staff know precisely how a site or piece of software will function.
Interface Design
I design the interface of the site for the programmers, developing look and feel and folding in existing branding. I also design and story board any in-depth functional pieces or widgets.
Branding Experiences
Having worked closely with programmers for the last 8 years, I take what I know of the client's brand and intention and find ways that can literarly be built into the user's exerience, making the interactive mutually benefcial and intriguing.
